Why LeaseRunner doesn’t collect social security numbers?

With LeaseRunner, the applicant enters his or her social security number directly at the credit bureau’s website, verifies identity, and authorizes the release of the background check. In order to minimize your liability and the risk of identity theft, LeaseRunner does not display or store social security numbers.
